Zelta Rudens

Finalmente chegou o tão esperado "Zelta Rudens" de Sigulda, que significa "Outono Dourado". Em poucos dias as folhas das árvores ficaram rapidamente amarelas e douradas que, com as árvores de folha caduca, criaram uma paisagem bastante bonita. Parece que metade da população da Letónia veio a Sigulda e turistas de outros países, havia filas em todo o lado e trânsito, algo que nunca acontece aqui! A verdade é que o bom tempo também convidou muitos a virem a uma das mais turísticas vilas da Letónia, pelo menos nestes dias.

Tivemos visitas de voluntários de outras vilas que estiveram no infantário durante a manhã de sexta, foi bastante interessante comparar as pedagogia Waldorf e Montessori e aprender sobre métodos que não conhecíamos. Claro que não podiam faltar as visitas da praxe ao Castelo, Paradīzes Kalns e Turaida!

Finally came the long awaited "Zelta Rudens" of Sigulda, which means "Golden Autumn". In a few days the leaves quickly turned yellow and gold which with the Evergreen trees have created a very beautiful landscape. It seems that half the population of Latvia came to Sigulda and tourists from other countries also , there were queues everywhere and traffic, something that never happens here! The truth is that the good weather also invited many to come to one of the most touristic towns of Latvia, at least these days.

We had visits from volunteers from other villages who were at the kindergarten during friday morning, it was quite interesting to compare the Waldorf and Montessori pedagogy and learn about methods that we did not know. Of course we had to visit the Castle, Paradīzes Kalns and Turaida, mandatory spots at Sigulda!
