Antes das férias de Natal tivemos no Infantário uma noite tipicamente natalícia. Como habitual, todas as educadoras, pais e crianças vieram para celebrar a última festividade do ano. No dia anterior preparámos a estrada de natal, em forma de espiral, com ramos de pinheiro; no centro estava uma vela em cima de um tronco de árvore.
Todos: educadoras, pais e crianças, pegaram numa vela colocada dentro de uma maçã e caminharam até ao centro da espiral. No centro acendia-se a vela com o lume da vela principal e de seguida colocava-se num local da estrada. Durante duas horas todos tiveram oportunidade de fazer este caminho e havia um grupo de educadoras e pais a tocar a mesma música durante todo o tempo. O ambiente foi bastante místico e emocionante: só havia a luz das velas a iluminar a sala e todos cantavam a música em uníssono. No final senti um espírito de união e celebração muito grande, foi muito especial.
Before the Christmas holidays we had at the kindergarten a typical holiday night. As usual, all teachers, parents and children came to celebrate the last festivity of the year. The day before we prepared the Christmas road, spiral-shaped, with pine branches; in the center was a candle on top of a tree trunk.
All: teachers, parents and children, took up a candle placed inside an apple and walked to the center of the spiral. At the heart they lighted up a candle with the flame of the main candle and then puted it on the road. For two hours all had opportunity to make this path and there was a group of teachers and parents playing the same music all the time. The atmosphere was quite mystical and exciting: there was only candlelight to illuminate the room and everyone sang the song in unison. At the end I felt a spirit of unity and great celebration, it was very special.
