Vilnius & Trakai

Às 23h00 Varsóvia apanhámos o autocarro que chegou a Vilnius às 8h00. Ficou a experiência que comer iogurte e tentar misturar frutas num autocarro em andamento, não é uma ideia muito boa, mas foi muito divertido!

Depois de uma noite mal dormida no autocarro visitámos Vilnius durante o dia. Fomos à torre do castelo, às inúmeras igrejas e descobrimos por acaso a livraria da universidade, que foi uma boa surpresa. Ficámos surpreendidos pela capital de um país ser tão pequena (depois de Varsóvia tudo pareceu mais pequeno), No entanto é uma cidade muito bonita, com um bom ambiente e com muito contacto com a natureza.

No dia seguinte fomos a Trakai, uma vila perto de Vilnius conhecida pelo seu castelo. Antes de lá chegarmos caminhámos pelas ruas e margens do Lago, um local muito pitoresco. O castelo, o lago e as ilhas parecem saídas de um conto de fadas.

At 23h00 in Warsaw we caught the bus that arrived at Vilnius at 8:00 am. The experience of eating yogurt and mixing fruit on a moving bus was not such a good idea, but it was fun!
After a sleepless night on the bus we visited Vilnius during the day. We went to the castle tower, the numerous churches and found by chance the library of the university, which was a good surprise. We were surprised how the capital of a country be so small (after Warsaw everything seemed smaller), however is a very beautiful city, with a good atmosphere and with a close relation with nature.
The next day we went to Trakai, a village near Vilnius known for its castle. Before we got there we walked the streets and the banks of the lake, a very picturesque place. The castle, the lake and the islands seem straight out of a fairy tale.
